First Lady Oluremi Tinubu Denies Organising Prayer Event

First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has dismissed reports circulating on conventional and social media platforms that she is organizing a National Prayer event for the country.

In a statement by Busola Kukoyi, spokesperson to the First Lady , clarified that the claims are “unfounded and misleading,” urging the public to disregard the news.

Busola adds that While the First Lady, a devout Christian and advocate for prayer, believes that prayer is a vital act for the nation, she emphasized that it should be done willingly, conscientiously, and correctly. 

She also stressed that praying for Nigeria is a responsibility for all Nigerians, regardless of religion, political affiliation, or ethnicity.

The public has been advised to confirm the authenticity of any news or events linked to the First Lady’s office through official channels to avoid misinformation.
